Very Very Short Post: A Child’s Drawings from Medieval Russia

There will be no Short Post today–but fear not, dear readers! A friend of mine brought this fantastic short article to my attention, about wonderful drawings made on birch bark by a seven-year-old named Onfim, around 1200 AD, in Novgorod (modern-day Russia). Featuring stick-figure dragons, mighty stick-figure warriors, and epic stick-battle scenes!

(and if you really enjoy it, there’s more awesome stuff about Medieval Russia, written by the same author, here.)
